Leo, a high school junior and piano prodigy, together with his only friend Tim, share the same social status as “nerds.”

That is Leo’s world until he sees Penelope “the new girl” at school. He’s entranced.

Jonesy, the ‘cool guy’ notices and invites Leo to ‘his’ party and a chance with Penelope. In return, Jonesy needs Leo to lie to the police providing an alibi for a crime he’s committed.
